Zoom is our university's video meeting platform. All faculty, staff, and students have licensed Zoom accounts available at no cost. Zoom has several key features to meet your virtual meeting needs:
- Create and join meetings: Zoom allows users to create and join meetings easily with any device. As the host, you can share your meeting link with anyone you wish to join, including students, colleagues, and guest speakers.
- Integrates with Canvas: Zoom is already integrated, allowing you to quickly access your meeting schedule and share it with students in your courses.
- Record meetings: If you have a student or colleague who cannot attend your meeting, you can record the meeting into your Zoom cloud account or to your local device to be shared with participants later. You can also use Zoom to record lectures or presentations without any participants present for a more polished video for sharing for future semesters.
