Engaging a wide range of community members in these groups allows for a comprehensive representation of the community's interests and concerns. This will help ensure that the AI strategy reflects the collective vision and addresses the needs of all members. Below, find engagement opportunities and resources.

Opportunity for Faculty and Staff

CU Denver invites faculty and staff to participate in a pilot initiative exploring AI tools and innovations through a structured Request for Proposals process in two distinct categories:

An AI Community of Practice: Teams of faculty and staff will collaboratively explore a predetermined AI tool with guided support and shared learning through September 2025. Participants are eligible for $1,000 stipend. To apply to participate in the AI Community of Practice, please submit through this link.
Advanced AI Innovation Projects: Faculty and staff with more AI experience will independently develop and implement AI-driven solutions through December 2025 to improve university operations, teaching, and research. Participants are eligible for up to $4,000 stipend. To submit a proposal for an Advanced AI Innovation project, please visit this link.

By participating in this three-part virtual workshop series, you will:

This series is organized by the AAC&U AI Pedagogy & Curriculum Working Group, including Joanne Addison, Rich Allen, Soumia Bardhan, Cameron Blevins, Kate Goodman, Lisa Keränen, and Ronica Rooks, with support from CETL, TIPS, CLAS, and OACE.
