Undergraduate Non-Degree

What is the purpose of being a Non-Degree seeking student?

Non-degree programs work for people who want to take a course for professional development, personal interest, or simple curiosity. It is also a great way for students enrolled at other institutions to earn extra credit by taking summer classes at CU Denver.

Non-degree programs are also a good way to discover if CU Denver is right for you. Students who start with a Non-Degree program may ultimately decide to apply for traditional degree-granting undergraduate or graduate admission.

I was admitted as a Non-Degree student, now what?

You should set up an appointment to meet with a CUE&A Success Advisor. Your advisor will talk to you about setting up a class schedule based on your interests, discuss course credits with you, and refer you to various campus resources. CUE&A Success Advisors are great at discussing your goals with you and other potential major options.
