SWAAAC Foundations Learning Guide

About the SWAAAC Foundations Learning Guide

The resources provided below have been curated in order to support a solid introduction to the requirements and skills necessary to provide impactful assistive technology supports and services to students with disabilities. The primary training content for each topic is selected from a subset of the Assistive Technology Internet Modules (ATIM), an AT training series developed by the OCALI Project. A free account is required to access ATIM content. Once registered, head to the Dashboard to review the full selection of available content. Feel free to explore beyond the modules we highlight below! ATIM modules can be taken for graduate credit (through OCALI) or to fulfill continuing education requirements if desired. Additional resources are provided for each topic including documents and forms where available.
