New Digital Signage and Interactive Displays

Campus displays are often managed at a departmental level. Those requiring remote deployment, API integration for live data, e.g., schedule and timely events, or interactive touchscreens benefit most from OIT Digital Signage offerings, but please email us with any questions about digital media or to request a new digital sign, Complete the New Digital Sign Questionnaire.

Digital Signage Accessibility

Requirements

  • Beginning July 1, 2024, all digital signs must comply with WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards.
  • We will follow CU Boulder’s accessibility guidelines on digital signage:
  1. Captions should accompany any audio content.

CU Anschutz branding colors and branding fonts should only be used in combinations that have sufficient color contrast.  For more support/guides, see our @Web page on Accessibility tools. page on Accessibility tools.
  3.  Follow the most recent WCAG standards with respect to animation and flicker rates.
  4. Follow ADA requirements around sign placement as indicated on the Facilities Management Campus Planning Resources page.
