Sophie is a Global Education Assistant at CU Denver’s Office of Global Education. Before working at CU Denver, she spent a year assisting with academics, student course planning and curriculum integration at CU Boulder’s Education Abroad. She earned her Bachelor's in Art History, Classics and Humanities from CU Boulder. In high school, she studied abroad in Greece and Italy, which helped to catalyze her passion for ancient art and history. She also took a solo trip to Ireland when she was 18 where she volunteered on an organic farm. She has been to 38 countries, and some of her favorites include Scotland, Italy, Australia, Indonesia and Greece.

In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with her dog, Loki, spending time in nature, attending Red Rocks shows, and appreciating art, which she gets to do on the weekends while working at the Phil Lewis Art Studio and Gallery in Boulder.
