Are the adventure programs only for students?
- No! Any member of the Lola and Rob Salazar Student Wellness Center may rent gear, use the bike shop and even go on Adventure trips with us. Everyone is welcome to come and explore
What happens if I return an item late?
- If an item is returned late a late fee will be charged. This late fee is equal to the number of days late the item is. The fee will be charged upon the return of the late item.
Can I get a refund if I return my gear early?
- Unfortunately, you cannot since we do not give refunds on rented gear. You can still return your gear early if you want to, you just won’t receive a refund.
Is there a cleaning fee for gear that is returned dirty?
-There is a fee for gear that is returned dirty. This fee is $10 per dirty item. The fee will be charged upon return of the item. You can avoid the cleaning fee by cleaning the gear yourself either at home or in the back of our rental shop!
What happens if I lost a piece of gear while I was out adventuring? Is there a fee for damaged or lost gear?
- In the instance that rental gear is damaged or lost there will be a damaged/lost fee assessed. This fee will be determined and charged upon the return of the rental item.
What if I want to rent gear but I cannot come in during the available hours?
- If you cannot come in during the hours that the rental shop is open you can set up an appointment to pick up your gear. Contact us at adventure@ucdenver.edu to set up an appointment.
