There are endless opportunities to learn and improve myself through health and fitness, and I feel this allows me to show up in other areas of my life at my best.🙂
Certification: I am a NSCA certified personal trainer, and my specialties are in moblity, strength training, and older adults. Fitness Philosophy: I became a personal trainer to help people get introduced to an environment that is all about self-growth and I love how much the wellness center does outside of fitness programs to help people progress in their health journeys. I really enjoy sharing what I do with others, and I always share their joy when we complete a goal or being a new exiting phase of their training. Fun Fact: I love anything to do with the outdoors including climbing, biking, skiing, backpacking, ect.
Certification: ACE Personal Trainer. I'm an undergraduate student studying public health and will be starting medical school at the Anschutz campus this Fall! Fitness Philosophy: The immense benefits exercise can have on your mental and physical health motivate me to stay fit and healthy!
Fitness specialties: General population, strength training, weight loss, muscle development, and functional training. Fitness Philosophy: It is never too late to take control and set goals to be healthier and more active. We owe it to ourselves to train to become physically and mentally healthier. Take care of your body and it will take care of you in the long run! Favorite thing about fitness: Seeing the personal growth, confidence and progress over time
Fitness specialties: General population, Spanish speakers, strength training, strength for specific purposes (skiing, climbing, hiking, ect). Fitness Philosophy: Everyone is an athlete! I never thought of myself as an athlete when I was young becasue the majority of what we did during gym class was play dodgeball and I hated it! It wasn't until I started taking dance lessons that I realized there is much more to fitness than what we did during P.E. class. I try to help all clients realize that they are athletes by focusing on their interests and likes and finding an exercise program that works best for them. Fun Fact: I love hiking and backpacking and once hiked the entire Colorado Trail from Denver to Durango (485 miles)!
