Coursera offers online courses and specializations taught by faculty across the CU system and is available at no cost to all faculty, staff and students. Courses are online and self-paced, so you can learn anywhere, anytime.

A payment card is any type of credit, debit or prepaid card used in a financial transaction. Compliance with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) is required of all university departments that accept payment cards for financial transactions. Any third-party vendor engaged by University Merchants to process payment card transactions on their behalf, or who is engaged in payment card financial services on our campus, must also comply with the PCI DSS.

CU Denver has computer labs available for currently enrolled students. Desktop PC and Mac computers are available for use as well as printing, copying, scanning, and study spaces.

CU Online Open is Canvas but used for non-matriculated users and continuing education students to participate in university sponsored online courses or trainings.

Data access requests can be made with appropriate permissions from data owners and initiated by the supervisor of the person in question, or by the department administrator.

If your name has changed, you would like to go by a middle name or abbreviated version of your name, or you would like to request a change to your email address, OIT can assist you with updating your directory listing and user account.

The eComm license includes Salesforce, Marketing Cloud and Cvent. It enables users to create and send personalized promotional and transactional email messages using contact data of our constituents. Cvent, an event registration and management tool, is also included in the package. The university will centrally fund one eComm license for each school, college and university-approved administrative units.

When visiting other university campuses, faculty, staff and students can log into Eduroam, a secure wireless network service.

A Shared Mailbox allows multiple users to read and send email messages from a common account. It also includes a shared calendar, enabling users to schedule and view events like vacation time collectively.

EndNote is the industry standard software tool for publishing and managing bibliographies, citations and references. It is available for university students, faculty and staff at no cost.

You can rent various IT and computer equipment for your classroom and business needs. Some equipment can be rented through the EMS system, other equipment needs to be rented onsite with OIT directly.

Consultation on purchasing new software or technology. Capability, technical requirements and other factors are reviewed to help make decisions about what hardware and/or software to purchase.

Event and Conference technology setup and support provides comprehensive services including the installation, configuration, and management of audiovisual equipment, video conferencing tools, and technical assistance to ensure seamless presentations and communication during events and conferences.

Formstack is a form building and data collection tool that can be used to accomplish a wide variety of tasks. You can build forms; configure everything from notification emails to approval workflows and form security; and view, edit, export or manipulate the data which has been submitted via your form.
